THE MAGIC OF LOVE

The Kiss. That famous painting tell us about love,that is, perhaps the strongest feeling in the world. So what is the story of this painting? What Gustav Klimt told us in this work? In the work men and women have also ceased to be seperate with an energy brought by love and have become a single body. While a man kisses a woman with love and desire, a woman never wants to leave him by grasping her man’s hand,hugging him with her whole body and a man hugs and hugs her this with all his heart. In the same way by using the same shades of yellow on men and women our artist has reinforced making two people one by using the same tone. Isn’t that true love anyway? Whether it is mutual or un requieted, to become one with the person you carry in your heart, to live life with him, to become a part of his life… While Klimt emphasizes the masculinity of the man with black geometric patterns, he reveals the femininity of the woman with colorful and circular shapes. And in contrast to the black geometric patterns of the man, the colorful and floral patterns of our women create a spring for our man. While the geometric patterns found on the woman’s clothes and refers to the presence of a woman who  greens,blooms and beauties like mother earth, nature and one of the rarest part of nature a woman. Of course, the fact that the background and the overall image of the picture are weighted in golden yellow makes the picture more valuable and shows. In fact there is no need for jewelry or rich places for value in love. Real wealth is that beautiful and so dangerous feeling that two people feel in each other’s hearts, that makes life more livable, that takes your breath away, that makes things that are never done. Klimt, who loved to paint women, mainly included passionate and attractive woman in his love paintings because according to him love could only be experienced with adrenaline and passionate emotions. But with this painting of love, he gave another direction to this thought, he painted the woman in a softer and more elegant way. Who knows, maybe he also wanted to show the effect that love leaves on softer and more elegant women as well as who look more dangerous and attractive. Or he believed that love could manifest living not only with burning emotions but also with pure, innocent and calm emotions, exactly as one would expect an artist… Even in an emotion not staying with a single idea, exploring its different ways, boldly directing change, pouring emotion on the canvas in all itsits aspects… Inspiring. This is just one of thousands of paintings about love. Others have stories to tell, too. Has the article been a little long? Maybe. But the papers weren’t enough to describe this beautiful and powerful feeling that he has existed since the world came into, being caused wars and flew peace pigeons, kept touch his name in epics, songs, poems, movies, books, touching people’s lives.
